Content Selection
Topics and tools are chosen based on relevance to our readers — researchers, academic writers, and professionals evaluating AI tools. We do not accept payment in exchange for coverage.
Fact-Checking
Every factual claim we publish — pricing, features, statistics — is expected to be traceable to a real, checkable source at the time of writing. Our current evaluation process is research-based rather than hands-on; see our Methodology page for detail on exactly what that means.
Corrections
If a reader identifies inaccurate or outdated information, we review the report and correct the article promptly where warranted. Corrections are made directly in the article, and the “last updated” date is revised to reflect the change.
Updates
AI tools change quickly. We aim to revisit and update tool-related articles when a tool undergoes a material change — new pricing, a major feature change, discontinuation. We do not change a “last verified” date without actually re-verifying the content.
Affiliate Relationships
Cite Forward does not currently run affiliate links. Our only monetization is Google AdSense. Should this change, all affiliate relationships will be disclosed clearly on every page where they apply, and they will never determine our recommendations.
Sponsored Content
We do not currently accept sponsored or paid content of any kind. If this policy changes in the future, sponsored content will be clearly labeled as such.
AI-Assisted Writing
AI tools may assist in the drafting and research process for some articles on this site — which is itself relevant disclosure given our subject matter. All published content is reviewed by a human editor before publication, and all factual claims are expected to be independently verifiable regardless of how a draft was produced.
Editorial Independence
No tool vendor, advertiser, or partner has influence over our editorial conclusions. Coverage decisions and evaluations are made independently by our editorial team.
